Board of Directors
- Khadeejah Oluronke Katagum nee Boardman (Founder) spent several years in the United Kingdom and the United States working with children and adolescents with special needs. She has a Bachelors degree in Psychology from the school of Human Behavior at the United States International University, San Diego. She later returned to Nigeria, and has since, attended several programs in the United Kingdom on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
- Ifeyinwa Phyllis Akerele is presently the Director General of the Nigerian Chamber of Shipping. She has held various administrative posts; she was the Executive Secretary of the Institute of Directors (IOD), Special Adviser in the Presidency between 1999-2001,Consultant to UNICEF and WHO. Mrs Akerele is the founder/ President of the Childline foundation. She holds a degree in Sociology from the then University of Ife. She is the secretary for the Okadigbo Foundation.
- Ireti Heebah Kingibe is a well educated, well seasoned politician who has a passion for the safety and security of children.
- Prof. John Izuka Ihenacho of the Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences in the University of Jos has a PhD in Special Education/Learning Disabilities from Claremont Graduate School/ University Centre, Claremont California. He has received several International and National Awards, scholarships & prizes and Honors & Distinctions. He has written several books for the field of Special Education and articles for National and International Journals.
- Mrs. Mariam Yalwaji Katagum is the Secretary General for the Nigerian National Commission for UNESCO. Mrs. Katagum attended the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where she obtained B.A. Hons English in 1976. Later, at the University of Lagos, she got a M.Ed. in Administration and Planning. She also attended a course at the University College, London in 1999, where she obtained a Certificate in Social Development Policy, Planning and Practice. She had served as Secretary of the Social and Human Sciences Sector of the NATCOM and as the Secretary of the Project Steering Committee of the World Bank Assisted Secondary Education Project between 2000 and 2001.
- Christine Chundusu graduated from the University of Jos in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Education. Having worked with the Junior Achievement of Nigeria as the Northern Regional Coordinator and Senior Program Officer, she is now with Pathfinder International. Christine was a Nigerian representative to the Global Leadership Conference in Atlanta Georgia in 2002.
- Abubakar Sule- Katagum is the Managing Director of the Bauchi State Investment and Property Development Company Limited.
- Ovie Ukiri is a Senior Partner of Ajumogobia and Okeke, a law firm based in Lagos.
- Gloria Williams is an assistant head teacher of a mainstream primary school in North West London. She has more than twenty five years experience working with Learners with Special Needs including the deaf and hearing impaired. She graduated from the Institute of Education, University of London with a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology and Language and Communications disorders. She later attended the University of Birmingham - B'Phil Ed Hearing Impairment. And is currently completing her PSHCE (Personal Social Health Citizenship Education) Certification.
- Emerica Karefa-Kargbo works with children with special needs in the U. S. Her experience is vast and updated with the new techniques that are often applied.
